How can Gundam Docks 2015 goes without a mascot? Here's a tribute to Singapore celebrating SG50

From Kunio Okawara - A tribute to Singapore
It is an honour to be able to design this special Gundam in celebration of Singapore's 50th anniversary.
This design is inspired by the red and white colours of Singapore's national flag, and my impressions toward the beauty and cleanliness of the country. I hope everyone likes this and it would be my great pleasure
First I thought the HG RX-78-2 Gundam Version SG50 would cost SG $50, fortunately it cost only S$38.95
Here's a fully painted RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50 exhibited @ Gundam Dock SG 2015
I do like the clear look and the Merlion insignia
I bought a total of nine pieces. Please do not mistook me as a scalper as I'm helping my friends to buy without jacking the price and only keeping one for myself. Just heard from a Gunpla buddy that he was unable to get this evening, so I'm prepared to let go mine as well. Blogging about RX-78-2 Gundam Version SG50 will be my most rewarding souvenir.
I had taken pics of the content. It seems that the red parts are a bit orangish. I would likely spray a more red hot chilli pepper colour if I ever build it.

Also exhibited were different grades of fully painted RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50 - This is how RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50 looks in Real Grade RG
When I saw taking pic of this SD RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50, I overheard a lady telling she partner she finds this really adorable. Her partner would have to custom paint it ^_^
Then I overheard another conversation... This time an uncle asking the sale staff if they sell RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50 in 1/100 scale Master Grade and was politely told it's not for sell. If they carry MG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50, I would want as well. Guess you guys know I'm more of a 1/100 scale collector.

If RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50 Gunpla is not your cup of tea, perhaps you can buy a mug with RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50 painted and enjoy every sip drinking your beverage with it.
Other RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. SG50 merchandises like keychains, plastic file folder and etc...
Ain't we lucky Bandai didn't use this Ashura Gundam of Neo Singapore as mascot. Looking back at the image of Singapore Gundam back in the era of full throttle G Gundam!
Perhaps this Merlion looking Gundam exhibited during 2009 Gundam Fiesta in Singapore is a better mascot. What do you think?
